2 Teen Suspects in Custody in IED Attempt at NYC Mayor’s Home

Federal investigators are probing for possible ties to terrorism after two suspects handled what the FBI describes as an improvised explosive device during an anti-Islam demonstration outside New York City’s Zohran Mamdani’s residence, Gracie Mansion. The devices failed to detonate and, according to two sources familiar with the matter, both suspects allegedly made pro-ISIS statements during their arrests. NBC’s Sam Brock reports for TODAY.
