Among the notable ancient trees Xi showed Trump was the ‘Lianli Bai’, two cypress trees whose trunks have grown together. A hot mic captured the leaders’ remarks, in which Trump asked Xi if other foreign leaders were also received in the compound. ‘Very rarely,’ Xi responded.
