Climate campaigners have accused Donald Trump of attacking Britain\u2019s energy policies on behalf of the fossil fuel industry, which made record donations to his presidential campaign.<\/p>\n
The US president-elect wrote in a social media post on Friday that the British government was \u201cmaking a very big mistake\u201d by cracking down on North Sea oil and gas producers \u2013 and added that the UK should \u201cget rid of windmills\u201d.<\/p>\n
