Against the background of the always-on sonic leak of the BBC and Hitler\u2019s promise to annihilate the Jewry of Europe, a new film, Freud\u2019s Last Session, <\/em>hopes to capitalize on a year in which Freud \u2013 and psychoanalysis \u2013 were resurrected.<\/p>\n The film opens with two pairings \u2013 the first, Freud and Freud: Anna (Liv Lisa Fries) teases her dying father, Sigmund (Anthony Hopkins), as he gets up from a nap on his couch. \u201cThe doctor lives,\u201d jokes Anna, which, given the film\u2019s title, we know won\u2019t be true for long.
