Celebrities are chipping in to help the region that\u2019s helped them grow to prominence \u2013 southern California \u2013 as wildfires<\/a> continue to sweep across the state.<\/p>\n So far, the Los Angeles-area fires have killed at least 24 people, displaced thousands of others and destroyed more than 12,000 structures.
