More than 400 newsroom staffers at the Washington Post<\/a> pleaded with the paper\u2019s owner, Jeff Bezos<\/a>, this week to do something about their beloved paper\u2019s rapid \u2013 and very public \u2013 decline.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are deeply alarmed by recent leadership decisions that have led readers to question the integrity of this institution, broken with a tradition of transparency, and prompted some of our most distinguished colleagues to leave, with more departures imminent,\u201d an extraordinary letter<\/a> to Bezos read in part, as first reported by NPR\u2019s David Folkenflik.
