The Federal Communications Commission on Wednesday reinstated complaints about how ABC News moderated the pre-election TV debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, and appearances of Kamala Harris on CBS\u2019s 60 Minutes and NBC\u2019s Saturday Night Live.<\/p>\n
Last week, then FCC chair Jessica Rosenworcel said the commission was rejecting complaints that \u201cseek to weaponize the licensing authority of the FCC in a way that is fundamentally at odds with the First Amendment\u201d. Then, on Wednesday, the FCC said in a series of orders the complaints had been dismissed \u201cprematurely based on an insufficient investigatory record\u201d.<\/p>\n
