High up in the Swiss Alps this week, an influential public relations executive issued a stark warning to the world\u2019s corporate and political elite. Public trust<\/a> is \u201cplummeting<\/a>\u201d, Richard Edelman declared, prompting a global \u201cdescent into grievance<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n For the 25th year, the PR agency Edelman released its annual \u201ctrust barometer\u201d at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
