Several federal government websites <\/strong>and databases dedicated to public health have gone dark in recent days, sparking fears about the Trump administration\u2019s plans to remove, alter or otherwise censor vital health information repositories.<\/p>\n Between Friday and Tuesday, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) resources for tracking<\/a>, preventing<\/a> and treating HIV; handling sexually transmitted infections<\/a> (STIs); and prescribing<\/a> contraception<\/a> have flickered in and out of existence.
