{"id":32825,"date":"2025-02-08T02:12:29","date_gmt":"2025-02-08T02:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news2shorts.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/08\/joe-youre-fired-president-trump-revokes-bidens-security-clearances-intel-briefings\/"},"modified":"2025-02-08T02:12:29","modified_gmt":"2025-02-08T02:12:29","slug":"joe-youre-fired-president-trump-revokes-bidens-security-clearances-intel-briefings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news2shorts.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/08\/joe-youre-fired-president-trump-revokes-bidens-security-clearances-intel-briefings\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;JOE, YOU\u2019RE FIRED&#8217;: President Trump revokes Biden\u2019s security clearances, intel briefings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/person\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> on Friday announced he is revoking former President Joe Biden&#8217;s security clearances and stopping his daily intelligence briefings.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is no need for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/person\/joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a> to continue receiving access to classified information,&#8221; Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>The privileges will be revoked immediately, according to the president.<\/p>\n<p>He added <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-revokes-security-clearances-51-intel-officials-signed-discredited-hunter-biden-laptop-letter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the precedent<\/a> was set by Biden himself.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/politics\/executive\/national-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Security<\/a>, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,&#8221; Trump wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The president noted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/live-news\/special-counsel-robert-hur-testimony-joe-biden-classified-documents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hur Report<\/a>, which he claimed &#8220;revealed that Biden suffers from \u2018poor memory\u2019 and, even in his \u2018prime,\u2019 could not be trusted with sensitive information,&#8221; according to the post.<\/p>\n<p>Special Counsel Robert Hur submitted a report on Biden\u2019s alleged improper retention of classified records, which confirmed the former president&#8217;s frequent memory lapses and contradicted his claims.<\/p>\n<p>Hur also testified in March that he found evidence that &#8220;pride and money&#8221; motivated Biden to retain classified documents.<\/p>\n<p>However, he did not recommend criminal charges\u00a0against Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Trump wrote in the post that he will always protect National Security.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;JOE, YOU\u2019RE FIRED.
