A federal judge will consider the Trump administration\u2019s offer of mass buyouts for government workers on Monday, after extending a deadline last week for more than 2 million federal employees to decide whether to accept the offer.<\/p>\n
US district judge George O\u2019Toole will hear arguments in Boston in a lawsuit brought by federal workers\u2019 unions which claim the administration\u2019s \u201cdeferred resignation\u201d program is illegal because it has not been authorized by Congress.<\/p>\n
