Republican speaker of the House Mike Johnson<\/strong> said he met with Elon Musk<\/strong> about what he called his \u201cexciting\u201d efforts to dramatically downsize the federal government.<\/p>\n \u201cI met with Elon yesterday about this, to get an update, and it\u2019s to me, it\u2019s very exciting what they\u2019re able to do, because what Elon and the Doge effort is doing right now is what Congress has been unable to do in recent years,\u201d Johnson said, referring to the Musk-chaired \u201cdepartment of government efficiency\u201d that has been behind the attempts to dramatically cut the federal workforce and disrupt agencies such as USAid and the Consumer Financial Bureau.<\/p>\n Billions of Dollars of FRAUD, WASTE, AND ABUSE, has already been found in the investigation of our incompetently run Government. Now certain activists and highly political judges want us to slow down, or stop.
