Workers at the US Agency for International Development (USAid) have been invited back to its office \u201cto retrieve their personal belongings\u201d as the Trump administration continues its bid to shut down the foreign aid agency.<\/p>\n
An email seen by the Guardian described how staff in Washington would be allowed to briefly return on Thursday or Friday of this week. They would be \u201cescorted to their workspace\u201d and granted \u201capproximately 15 minutes\u201d to gather their items, it said.<\/p>\n
