US president says Russian counterpart \u2018doing what anybody else would do\u2019 as Ukraine faces escalating aerial attacks<\/p>\n
Donald Trump has said he finds it \u201ceasier\u201d to work with Russia than Ukraine and that Vladimir Putin \u201cwants to end the war\u201d, days after his administration cut off military assistance and intelligence to Kyiv.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m finding it more difficult, frankly, to deal with Ukraine. And they don\u2019t have the cards,\u201d Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Friday. \u201cIn terms of getting a final settlement, it may be easier dealing with Russia.\u201d<\/p>\n
