She was one of about 70 people who gathered on 30 November last year to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, a leader of Romania\u2019s interwar fascist Legionary Movement<\/a> and head of its paramilitary wing, the Iron Guard.<\/p>\n Codreanu and his ally, Ion Antonescu \u2013 Romania\u2019s virulently antisemitic wartime dictator \u2013 were central figures in the country\u2019s Holocaust history.
