A senior Democratic congressman vowed to \u201cstop Doge\u2019s illegal power grab\u201d after operatives from Elon Musk<\/a>\u2019s so-called \u201cdepartment of government efficiency\u201d gained<\/a> entry to the US Institute of Peace in Washington \u2013 an independent organization established by Congress \u2013 and forced out its leaders.<\/p>\n \u201cI was at USIP tonight to conduct congressional oversight over Doge\u2019s break-in,\u201d Don Beyer of Virginia said<\/a> on Monday. \u201cI spoke with [removed] acting president & CEO [George] Moose.
