A portrait<\/a> of Donald Trump<\/a> that was commissioned by fellow Republicans<\/a> \u2013 but which he evidently came to believe had been \u201cpurposefully distorted\u201d \u2013 was removed from a wall at the Colorado<\/a> state capitol where it had been since 2019.<\/p>\n After Trump<\/a> posted complaints about the painting on his Truth Social platform, Colorado\u2019s senate minority leader, Paul Lundeen, a Republican, asked that it be taken down and replaced with one that \u201cdepicts his contemporary likeness\u201d.
