Donald Trump revealed his intentions to reshape the Smithsonian Institution with an executive order on Thursday that targets funding to programs with \u201cdivisive narratives\u201d and \u201cimproper ideology\u201d.<\/p>\n
The president said there has been a \u201cconcerted and widespread\u201d effort over the past decade to rewrite US history by replacing \u201cobjective facts\u201d with a \u201cdistorted narrative driven by ideology rather than truth\u201d.<\/p>\n
