The Browns then rewarded Watson, at the time one of the best quarterbacks in the league, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/sport\/2023\/sep\/21\/the-browns-sold-their-souls-to-sign-deshaun-watson-the-results-are-not-pretty\">with a $230m fully guaranteed contract<\/a>.
