Joe Biden on Tuesday accused Donald Trump and his billionaire lieutenant, Elon Musk, of taking a \u201chatchet\u201d to the social security administration as part of their warp-speed effort to tear down the federal government.<\/p>\n
In his first public remarks since leaving office, the former president avoided any mention of Trump \u2013 his predecessor and successor \u2013 by name but assailed the administration for threatening social security, which he called a \u201csacred promise\u201d that more than 70 million Americans rely on each month.<\/p>\n
