The Trump administration<\/a> is invoking the \u201cstate secrets privilege \u201d in an apparent attempt to avoid answering a judge\u2019s questions about its erroneous deportation of Kilmar \u00c1brego Garc\u00eda<\/a> to El Salvador.<\/p>\n US district judge Paula Xinis disclosed the government\u2019s position in a two-page order on Wednesday. She set a Monday deadline for attorneys to file briefs on the issue and how it could affect \u00c1brego Garc\u00eda\u2019s case.
