U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced Thursday the latest “worst of the worst” criminal illegal immigrants<\/a> convicted of crimes nationwide, including murderers, pedophiles and drug traffickers.<\/p>\n

The Department of Homeland Security<\/a> (DHS) highlighted the convictions of five illegal immigrants from Vietnam, Honduras, Cuba and Mexico.<\/p>\n

“While sanctuary politicians release criminal illegal aliens from their jails to victimize more American families and children, our officers continue to arrest\u00a0criminals,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia\u00a0McLaughlin said in a statement.\u00a0“Yesterday, ICE arrested<\/a> criminal illegal aliens convicted for murder,\u00a0sexual assault of a CHILD,\u00a0and drug trafficking.”<\/p>\n

McLaughlin added that nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal immigrants charged or convicted of a crime.<\/p>\n

“This statistic does not even include foreign fugitives, gang members, and terrorists<\/a> who lack a rap sheet in the U.S,” she said.<\/p>\n

Muoi Van\u00a0Duong, an undocumented immigrant from\u00a0Vietnam, was convicted of murder with\u00a0a\u00a0firearm\u00a0in San Diego,\u00a0California<\/a>, according to DHS.<\/p>\n

DHS said that Roberto\u00a0Xochimitl-Flores, a\u00a0criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico<\/a>, was found guilty of second-degree sexual abuse: sexual contact with a person less than 14 years old\u00a0in New York City.<\/p>\n

Lisandro Omar\u00a0Borjas-Aguirano,\u00a0an illegal resident from\u00a0Honduras,\u00a0was convicted\u00a0of sexual assault of a child\u00a0in Collin County, Texas<\/a>, according to DHS.<\/p>\n

DHS announced that Rigoberto\u00a0Salvia-Ricardo, a\u00a0Cuban national<\/a>, was convicted\u00a0of sexual battery of a juvenile in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.<\/p>\n
