The resulting <a href=\"https:\/\/today.yougov.com\/health\/articles\/50018-bugs-insects-season-summer-butterflies-are-most-popular-2024-poll\">survey<\/a> found that butterflies are America\u2019s favorite insect, with eight in 10 people having a \u201cvery or somewhat positive\u201d reaction to them.<\/p>\n<p>Many journalists will tell you to never trust the polling, and they\u2019ve been proven right many times over.
