A chance to burnish a budding reputation as one of the East Coast\u2019s most pleasant and interesting big cities \u2013 in the view of this columnist, at any rate \u2013 and one of its most affordable, too.<\/p>\n<p>The ample offering of public transportation to the six 2026 World Cup matches slated for Lincoln Financial Field (dubbed Philadelphia Stadium for the tournament, as per Fifa\u2019s sponsor rules) will set fans back <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescore.com\/us_fed\/news\/3532758\">a mere $2.90<\/a>. Tickets to see those matches are somehow <a href=\"https:\/\/6abc.com\/post\/2026-fifa-world-cup-ticket-prices-philadelphia-starting-come-down-resale-market-data-shows\/19105248\/\">getting cheaper<\/a> on the secondary market \u2013 down about 16 percent from last month. Hotels are still reasonably priced. And fan fests will remain free for every day of the tournament.
