Democrats said Kathryn Ruemmler, who served as White House counsel under Barack Obama, was not \u201ccompletely truthful\u201d with lawmakers during her Wednesday testimony before the House committee on oversight and reform about her ties to Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ruemmler, who testified as part of the panel\u2019s investigation into the convicted sex offender, said in her opening remarks that Epstein \u201cused\u201d her \u201cto legitimize his standing\u201d and that \u201cit was a mistake to deal with\u201d him.
