Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> said on Sunday that Zohran Mamdani<\/a>, the New York City mayor, is \u201cfomenting hate\u201d by calling the Israeli prime minister a war criminal who should be arrested over Israel<\/a>\u2019s war in Gaza if he visits the city for the United Nations general assembly.<\/p>\n Netanyahu said he intends to be in New York<\/a> in September to address the annual UN gathering of world leaders, despite the mayor\u2019s suggestion that he is not welcome.
