Sara Gilson, the social media influencer who was killed after she publicly accused her husband of child sexual abuse, \u201ccouldn\u2019t seem to get away\u201d from Jeremiah Duffy despite filing multiple protective orders, Gilson\u2019s ex-husband said in an interview.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe had been stuck in a relationship where domestic abuse seemed \u2018OK\u2019,\u201dLyle Landers told People. \u201cI had begged her for five years to get away from him. I had offered to help her, in any way I could, to get away from him. But he seemed to have some sort of control over her, and she couldn\u2019t seem to get away.\u201d<\/p>\n
