But when I look at the matchups that headline the schedule, it made me think of all the different rivalries that have come and gone throughout the league\u2019s 30 years \u2013 some rooted in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kapFRzy1xHE&amp;pp=ygUbdC1zcG9vbiBzaG90IGNvbWV0cyBsaWJlcnR5\">half-court buzzer-beaters<\/a>, others in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZLMM-9VPzso&amp;pp=ygUWbm5la2Egc2hvdCAyMDE2IGZpbmFscw%3D%3D\">baseline jumper buzzer-beaters<\/a>. Moral of the story: if there\u2019s a buzzer-beater involved, it\u2019ll likely turn into a team rivalry.<\/p>\n<p>And while there <em>are<\/em> tense rivalries, there are also fierce friendships in this league. The ones that make you giggle to yourself when they wind up guarding each other during a game, or they show off a special celebration as teammates.
