Donald Trump announced Friday a new US oil agreement with Venezuela\u2019s interim president Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, saying the US will have \u201cmajority\u201d control of 65bn barrels of proven oil reserves.<\/p>\n
The terms of the agreement remain to be seen, but the US president said on his social-media platform that it had been brokered \u201cthrough a partnership with \u2060private business\u201d by his secretary of state, Marco Rubio, and defense secretary, Pete Hegseth.<\/p>\n
