The Trump administration<\/a>\u2019s ambassador to the United Nations said the US rejected Iran<\/a>\u2019s proposal to end the ongoing war there because Iranian negotiators \u201cwere asking for everything up front\u201d.<\/p>\n Echoing comments by Donald Trump on Saturday, the president\u2019s UN ambassador Mike Waltz told CNN\u2019s State of the Union on Sunday that Iran had asked for relief \u201cfrom billions and billions of sanctions that are going into place\u201d as part of an economic blockade on Iran.
