The US Coast Guard said late on Saturday it had found debris from a medical transport aircraft off the shore of \u2060Massachusetts\u2019 Nantucket Island and \u2060was searching for \u200bthe six people who were on board.<\/p>\n
The jet lost contact with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) during a flight from Bermuda to Boston on Saturday morning. In a statement to the Guardian, an FAA spokesperson said that the agency issued a search-and-rescue alert notice for a Gulfstream G-100 at about 1.20am local time Saturday.<\/p>\n
