A top elections group affiliated with President Donald Trump<\/a> is halting spending planned in two key congressional districts held by sitting House Republicans as Election Day looms less than a month away.<\/p>\n

MAGA Inc. is reallocating its planned investments in districts represented by Rep. Tom Kean, R-N.J., and Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, for the remainder of the midterm election cycle, a source familiar with those plans confirmed to Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n

A super PAC aligned with House GOP leadership, the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), is also pulling its cash from those districts to reroute into other races, a source familiar with those plans said.<\/p>\n

Both groups will instead route those funds into other House races across the country. It comes after recent polling data signaled the two incumbents’ chances for re-election have grown slim.<\/p>\n

Republicans’ uphill battle to keep control of the House of Representatives<\/a> is getting tougher by the day, according to various projections. The latest Fox News Power Rankings show Democrats having an edge in 219 House seats \u2014 enough to clinch a majority \u2014 while Republicans are projected to keep 198. Nineteen seats are still up in the air.<\/p>\n

Kean’s 7th Congressional District is one of the wealthiest in both New Jersey and the U.S. as a whole, encompassing suburbs and exurbs of New York City to the north.<\/p>\n

A source close to Kean’s campaign told Fox News Digital that “the race is fully funded down the home stretch.”<\/p>\n

Kean’s campaign and House Republicans’ campaign arm “have major reservations on broadcast,” the source said, adding that his Democratic opponent Rebecca Bennett “has no soft dollar reservations on her behalf.”<\/p>\n

He and Miller-Meeks represent two of the most purple districts in the country.<\/p>\n

Kean won his House seat in 2022 after defeating incumbent former Rep. Tom Malinowski<\/a>, D-N.J., by less than 10,000 votes. His 2024 re-election margin was wider, winning by just over 5%, or 23,000 more votes than his Democrat challenger.<\/p>\n

Miller-Meeks, meanwhile, is seeking a fourth term against Democrat Christina Bohannan, whom she defeated twice by roughly 20,000 and 800 votes in 2022 and 2024.<\/p>\n

She first won in 2020 by just six votes \u2014 earning her the nickname “six-pack” among fellow House Republicans and GOP leadership.<\/p>\n

Miller-Meeks represents Iowa’s 1st Congressional District in the state’s southeast, encompassing the cities of Davenport and Iowa City.<\/p>\n

The New York Times<\/a> first reported plans by “top Republican super PACs aligned with President Trump and congressional Republican leadership” to pull funding from Kean and Miller-Meeks’ districts over concerns about their polling.<\/p>\n

CLF is reportedly pulling the funding as part of a wider reshuffling of its war chest into other districts that Republicans are more confident in.<\/p>\n

That includes battleground Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., and Monica De La Cruz, R-Texas, The Times reported.<\/p>\n

The source familiar with CLF’s planning told Fox News Digital the group was also pulling funding from Michigan’s 8th Congressional District and Ohio’s 1st Congressional District, where Republicans were hoping to unseat Reps. Kristen McDonald Rivet, D-Mich., and Greg Landsman, D-Ohio.<\/p>\n
