It\u2019s<strong> <\/strong>a surprising result that underscores how strongly Democratic candidates are performing on election night.<\/p>\n<p>Florida governor Ron DeSantis and Republicans who control the state legislature redrew the state\u2019s congressional map earlier this year to create four new districts \u2013 the ninth, 14th, 22nd, and 25th \u2013 that favored Republicans. Had the districts been in place in 2024, Donald Trump would have won all but one by double digits.
