There are better options"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Choosing a healthcare plan can be extremely complicated, but it\u2019s necessary to attract and retain good workers<\/p>\n<p>Again, healthcare costs are going up. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercer.com\/en-us\/solutions\/health-and-benefits\/research\/national-survey-of-employer-sponsored-health-plans\/\">recent study<\/a> from Mercer, total health benefit cost per employee in 2027 is expected to rise 8.2% \u2013 after employers\u2019 planned cost-reduction measures (without action, employers told Mercer their existing plans would rise about 11%). This would be the highest increase since 2003.<\/p>\n<p>And, again, we see the same reaction from employers.
