When are we going to get over the idea that hosting a huge awards ceremony is a great gig for a comedian and \u2013 an even crazier notion \u2013 an easy one? The response to Golden Globes host Jo Koy is both surprising and not surprising. \u201cMaybe the Golden Globes \u2026 don\u2019t need a host, actually?\u201d<\/a> Rude. \u201cJo Koy bombs.\u201d<\/a> Mean. And the real kicker: \u201cTaylor Swift unimpressed<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Why surprising? Because surely no one seriously imagines that a phalanx of Hollywood superstars in Spanx and borrowed Cartier jewellery makes for a relaxed and up-for-it crowd.
